Kadalai Paruppu SunadalIngredients :
Kadala parruppu / Bengal gram - 1/2 cup
Water- 1/4 cup
Salt - to taste
To Temper :
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Split urad shal - 1/4 tsp
Dry chilli - 1
Curry leaves - few
Scrapped coconut
Method :
1. Soak dhal for an hour. Cook it in cooker with little water and salt for 2 whistles.
2. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds allow it to crackle then add split urad dhal.
3. Add red chilli and curry leaves.
4. Add the cooked dhal and coconut to it and give it a quick stir

- You can replace red chilli with green chilli.
- Soaking bengal gram in water makes cooking it an easy task.
