
Kadala parruppu / Bengal gram - 1/2 cup
Water- 1/4 cup
Salt - to taste
To Temper :
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Split urad shal - 1/4 tsp
Dry chilli - 1
Curry leaves - few
Scrapped coconut
Method :
1. Soak dhal for an hour. Cook it in cooker with little water and salt for 2 whistles.
2. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds allow it to crackle then add split urad dhal.




- You can replace red chilli with green chilli.
- Soaking bengal gram in water makes cooking it an easy task.
